I. composition design

1. Square, triangular and waist cap labels must be more than 4mm outside the original when typesetting, and pay attention to the position and distance between labels. If the cap marks are arranged closely, there will be inaccurate cutting or punching die position

2. Before plate making, you should know the primary color of the cap mark clearly, because there are many color samples on the cap at present. If the surface of the cap label is gold, you should pay attention to whether there is white in the print pattern, because gold ink and white ink cannot be overprinted, and they must be overprinted on gold or white. It is best to design overprint in plate making, because overprint will increase the printing difficulty

3. pay attention to the proportion of front and rear tension in printing. Generally, the proportion of rear tension is higher than that of front tension, and the rear tension is usually 10% higher than that of front tension. In the printing process, we should also pay attention to adjusting the angle of the scraper, which is conducive to extending the service life of the plate cylinder

II. Embossing

problems of different embossing length and pattern depth often occur during embossing. The main reasons are as follows: the inconsistent embossing length is usually due to poor printing and winding and the front and rear tension of the embossing machine is not well controlled. The light pattern is mainly due to the unclean lanolin and the poor control of oil pressure. The unclean lanolin roll is caused by the decolorization of the ink, which can be cleaned with alcohol and propanol in a more global and upstream downstream coordinated manner. III. flattening
